The IMPACT heel wedge has been developed to provide general shock absorption and targeted relief for the rearfoot, as well as to offer gentle relief for the Achilles tendon and calf muscle. With a height of approximately 6 mm when under load, the heel wedge provides immediate relief for the rearfoot, reduces tensile stress on the Achilles tendon and alleviates strain on the calf muscles.

The product is made from viscoelastic polymer (VEP), a material with combined shock-absorbing and stabilising properties. The material effectively absorbs impact energy during walking and running whilst providing controlled support and maintaining its mechanical properties over time.

The heel wedge is particularly useful for conditions such as Achilles tendinitis, where it helps reduce the load on the tendon. It can also be used for general heel pain, overuse of the calf muscles, and to relieve pressure following issues such as a bunion. 

In addition to its pressure-relieving effect, the heel wedge can be used to compensate for leg length differences of up to approximately 6 mm, which helps improve symmetry in weight-bearing patterns and reduces the risk of secondary problems in the foot, knee, hip and lower back.

The self-adhesive underside allows for stable fixation in the shoe and ensures correct positioning. The product can be easily moved between different types of shoes without affecting function or fit.

Clean with lukewarm water and a mild soap solution. Allow to air dry completely before reuse.
