Mediroyal Nordic AB was founded in 2002 with the goal to become market leader in Scandinavia for innovative and functional orthoses for rehabilitation after injury. We started early with a high speed in our development work, and it has continued like that. Today we have been granted about fifty patents and design protections and holds a large trademark portfolio. The international demand for our products has steadily increased and today we are exporting to more than fifty countries around the world. Innovation, quality, and function are our keywords. 

We early identified that the key to success is to be close to where development and production of technical textiles takes place. That is why we, 2015 decided to start our own production in Taiwan ROC. Mediroyal Asia Pacific is located in Taiwan’s second largest city, Taichung, which is also the center for development of technical textiles in Taiwan. There we develop our own textile materials which we then construct and produce our products from. Through this, we can early in the development process adapt the material to optimize the function in the finished product. The innovation process is seldom a straight path, on the contrary a quite complicated process. We often describe ourselves as the master of compromise who balances the demands of therapists and users and combines this with innovative materials and constructions.

One of our strongest driving forces is the passion to develop and improve our products together with our customers. We are a small team with a high tempo, and many have been employed since the company started 20 years ago. The step from idea to finished product is often short with us. Our goal is to collaborate closely with our customers, understand their needs, solve biomechanical problems with innovative technical solutions, be a leader in innovation and development and maintain a high level of service.
