CRX® Costal – stable back orthosis with extra compression
CRX® Costal is a flat-knitted back orthosis designed to provide extra high compression around the lumbar and abdominal area, combined with enhanced stability and support for a painful lower back.
The combination of an extremely low front height, only 14 cm, and a back height of 27.5 cm creates a smooth, functional back support optimized for comfort.

On the back, over the lumbar region, four spring-steel stays are laminated into a lumbar plate to provide extra support and relief over the affected area. The stays are positioned in pairs on the right and left sides of the spine and can easily be adjusted to follow the contour of the lower back.

The dual X-straps, made of a highly elastic microfiber material, are placed directly over the lumbar region. With a total strap width of 13 cm × 2, they offer a unique ability to generate high compression across virtually the entire lumbar area. The straps can be tightened or loosened for optimal individual adjustment of support and compression.
The back support is equipped with easy-grip loops that make donning and doffing easier for individuals with reduced hand strength.

Important to note – high compression
CRX® Costal has higher compression than traditional lumbar braces.
For individuals with reduced hand strength, a larger size may be appropriate to facilitate application.
