• Athletes who play sports with a risk of ankle injuries such as football, handball, volleyball, basketball etc.
• For those who hike in uneven terrain
• Athletes who don't like the "normal" ankle brace with laces as it restricts movement and reduces support in use 
• Individuals who need a little more ankle support for their daily activities, which are not necessarily sports related

The adaptation period is usually 2-3 hours of sports activity or 6-8 hours of normal use.

Not recommended for sneakers/shoes that have a sleeve/sock design that restricts the opening of the shoe. Due to the limited design, it is very difficult to get an ankle support down in this type of shoe. The support cannot be used in high boots or sandals.
