The Pelott insole has been developed to relieve and redistribute pressure in the forefoot for various types of forefoot problems. By lifting the forefoot arch, it helps to reduce pressure on the metatarsal heads and thereby lessen the load on the ball of the foot.
The T-shaped pad provides targeted and controlled relief that promotes a more even distribution of pressure under load. The design contributes to improved biomechanics in the forefoot and can thus reduce pain in conditions such as Morton’s neuroma, hallux valgus and hammer toe.
A key and unique feature of this pad sole is that the pad’s size, height and firmness are adapted to the sole’s size. This is crucial for achieving optimal effect, as a smaller foot exerts a different load on the pad than a larger one. Smaller sizes therefore have a lower, softer pad, whilst larger sizes have a higher and more stable pad to handle increased load. This differentiation ensures more personalised pressure relief and consistent treatment results regardless of foot size.
The insole’s 3/4 design allows for easy application in various types of shoes without affecting toe box space. The self-adhesive underside ensures stable positioning, even in shoes with heels. The construction in dimensionally stable PU foam, combined with a leather surface layer, provides both good shock absorption and high comfort during use.
The pad insole is recommended for forefoot problems where relief of the forefoot arch and forefoot pad is necessary. The Pelott insole can be used in all types of footwear, including everyday shoes, formal shoes, and sports and fitness shoes.
