The IMPACT multi-wedge has been developed to provide shock absorption and stabilising relief in cases of impaired function of the heel pad, such as in heel pad syndrome. Thanks to its cup-shaped design, it encases the calcaneus and helps to centre and stabilise the plantar heel pad, thereby reducing the strain on the heel’s soft tissues during weight-bearing.

The product is made from viscoelastic polymer (VEP), a material with both shock-absorbing and dimensionally stable properties. The material enables effective absorption of impact energy during walking and standing activities, whilst providing controlled support and maintaining its mechanical properties over time.

The cup-shaped design counteracts lateral and medial displacement of the heel’s fat pad under load, which helps to preserve its shock-absorbing function. This is particularly relevant in conditions where the fat pad has lost its volume or elasticity, which can otherwise lead to increased pressure on the calcaneus and pain during weight-bearing.

The Multi-wedge thus contributes to improved load distribution under the heel and can reduce pain during prolonged standing, walking or other activities. It is indicated for heel pad syndrome, general heel pain and when increased shock absorption in the heel is required.

The self-adhesive underside allows for secure fixation in the shoe and ensures correct positioning. The product can be easily moved between different shoe types, including more open styles, without affecting function or fit.

Clean with lukewarm water and a mild soap solution. Allow to air dry completely before reuse.
