The new EXTO®-15 is a unique finger orthosis for hyperextension or hypermobility of finger joints. It can also be used for radial- or ulnar deviation to compensate and correct the deformity.
The EXTO®-15 has a 15 degree angled correction on each side of the ring in order to stop hyperextension earlier and more effectively. The length of the ring has been done a bit longer than the 2008 Multi Finger Splint, increasing the lever arm to provide more stability and support. The polymer composition will allow correction if necessary, by using a heat gun.
EXTO®-15 is available in sizes 1–14 with an asymmetrically graded length of each splint size. The measurement chart can be used as a guide to select the right size; however, an individual fitting is always recommended.
EXTO®-15 is also available in a 3-pack and an assortment pack with one piece of each size.
Indications: The product has been designed to support and protect the DIP and PIP finger joints against hyperextension, like swan neck deformity or hyper mobility. It can also be used for radial- or ulnar deviation of the joints.
