The Ulnar-Flex® Elbow Orthosis has been designed to effectively prevent flexion of the elbow joint. The orthosis is made from the breathable ARX® material with a loop textile surface. Over the arm-fold, the Neptune™ material provides a thin and breathable area. 

The orthosis has a circular design with hook closures. Two aluminium splints are positioned in the external pockets on the outside. They can be shaped individually to provide effective flexion support. 

The pocket over the arm-fold can be fitted with a foam pad that is enclosed, to prevent pressure from the splints when the elbow is loaded in flexion. To provide more support in flexion there are two elastic straps that can be attached on the outside of the orthosis, to provide additional circular support. 

On the inside of the orthosis, over the elbow joint, a memory foam pad has been placed in an open pocket to provide individual off-loading of pressure and to provide a higher comfort.

Indications:
Ulnar-Flex® can be used to treat ulnar nerve instabilities or cubital tunnel syndroms. It can also be used for post-fracture treatments to prevent active elbow flexion.
 

Measure the circumference 5 cm below the elbow joint.
